Welcome to West Laurens High School's website! My name is Lyn Long, and it is truly an honor to serve as the principal of this exceptional school. WLHS is a place where students are encouraged to grow, give their best effort, and take pride in being a Raider. Our students thrive not only academically, but also through athletics, fine arts, and career pathways that prepare them for life beyond high school. I believe deeply in helping students reach their full potential while also making the most of their high school years—celebrating the moments, building memories, and sharing those experiences with their families. Success at WLHS is a community effort, and I am proud to partner with our students, families, and staff to support every Raider as they learn, lead, and exceed.

It's that time of year for students to apply that are interested in the Morris Bank Leadership Advisory Council. This application is available for RISING juniors and seniors who are interested in serving on the council for the 2026-2027 school year. If a student is interested, they need to see Mr. Knight in the counselor's office to sign up and pick up an application. All applications are due to Mrs. Knight or the Downtown Dublin Morris Bank branch by Friday, February 27th.
Please note that in order for all seniors to participate in graduation at West Laurens High School, both of the following requirements must be met:

A cap & gown must be purchased

Senior dues must be paid
If you have only purchased a cap & gown or only paid senior dues, you will not be eligible to participate in graduation until both requirements are completed.
Cap & gown purchases can be made at gradnow.com.
To pay senior dues, scan the QR code. After scanning:
